My First Post - Hello!!!

Hi!!!

Firstly, thank you for taking to time to stop by new photography blog - All feedback is majorly welcome... here is a little about me.

Me and Photography

Over the last couple of years I have developed a true love for photography. I took the plunge last September and bought myself a DSLR, having only ever used point and shoot cameras it was initially very frustrating, but I went on a course to teach me the basics of DSLR photography and I'm away... (I think) I am currently using a Nikon D60 but am hoping to upgrade to a D90 as soon as I can!!!!

Me and Everything Else

To cut a long story short, I went to music school (LOVED IT!) then went on to study music at Uni, fell ill, had to pack in Uni, band and work for a number of months. Randomly (with the help from my mum) stumbled upon making jewellery and realised I had a real passion for it.

I started delving into the different medias of jewellery making and came across Lampwork Glass Bead making. In April 2009 I plucked up the courage to go on a Beginners Introduction Course to Lampwork Glass Bead Making, I absolutely loved it and any spare time I get I'm sat behind my torch melting glass into lots of pretty things!

On a totally different note... Me and My boyfriend are moving to Japan for a year in June - which is very exciting, and I want to be able to get fantastic shots of our journey/experience out there... pretty good reason to learn DSLR photography hey!

So seriously if you see a photo I have taken and you think you could give me some constructive criticism, that would be much much much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Peace,
Vicki
